Danny Daniels

A Trusted Partner for Long-term Relationships

Danny started his career in telecom in 1996 with AT&T (formerly Michigan Bell andAmeritech) where he worked in customer service, billing, and account management.  After completing schooling in Cisco Networking and VOIP services, he joined XO Communications, which would eventually be absorbed by Verizon, and enjoyed the more technical side of telecom, working with the VOIP networking and repair teams. It was a few years later at XO/Verizon where he first began a role as a customer service manager and solutions architect. These roles allowed him to combine his appreciation for communication and relationship building with his technical experience.

After spending 20 years working for the largest telecom providers on the planet, Danny was ready to join Beacon because he wanted to be with an organization where he felt integral in the company’s success, and where he could form partnerships with customers that would extend well beyond the lifecycle of an initial introductory project. A relentless customer advocate and creative thinker, Danny started at Beacon in 2018 as a Customer Success Manager primarily responsible for a 1000 location financial services company. His first couple years were spent helping to ensure a smooth transition from the customers’ disjointed group of legacy providers and equipment manufacturers to a new Cisco technology stack and cohesive group of voice, data, and wireless providers. He is committed to partnering with customers and leveraging service providers to drive results that enable enterprise stakeholders to focus on strategy and profit instead of the day-to-day headaches of telecom and data infrastructure. After multiple years with Beacon, Danny says he is grateful for what he hopes will be lifelong customer relationships. He believes that his customers see him as more than just a telecom resource, but also as a trusted partner.

Danny was married in 2022, and just a few months later he and his wife Alesha moved from Michigan to Florida. As new transplants to the sunshine state, they both are still in love with the beach (and each other) and enjoy time with their Golden Retriever June and French Bulldog Ellie. Danny says that living near the ocean has made him realize how small we really are and reminds him to fully enjoy each day that we are given.
